Bibliyo

Bibliyo is an app for my fellow bibliophiles. It connects you to a network of other book lovers, whether that be friends and family or new people across the country or globe. It allows for virtual book clubs and reading challenges. You can see what others in your group are reading or actively be competing against them for prizes.

This app is a part of a larger project set that consists of infographics, a book and a poster series. The objective was to get creative with how we displayed a set of data. My set was based off a set of statistics from the list of top 25 bestselling of all time books.

Infographic Book Display

The infographics for this project set were based on the stats for the 25 top bestselling books of all time. I went through the stats on male vs. female authors, the countries of origin that the books come from, the books ages, genres and total time it would take to read the whole list. As a secondary compotent we were to display the infographics in a way that incorporated them into another media. This book I put together was designed with a coffee table setting in mind, something guests can flip through while they visit.

Exhibition Poster Series

Lastly for this project set we were to make an exhibition piece. For mine I chose a poster series that promotes the top 25 bestselling of all time reading challenge. The posters would be easy to display in a local library or school which would be the primary target audiences for the challenge, book and app within this set.
